REUTERS TV ON SWAZILAND POVERTY

Here’s another television report of the Swaziland 40/40 celebration that is available on the Internet. This one is from Reuters Television.

Reuters’ introduction to the report says, ‘Heads of government from Africa join thousands of people in celebrating 40 years of Swaziland’s independence and King Mswati’s 40th birthday, days after rare protests over poverty.

Forbes magazine listed the king last month as the 15th richest monarch in the world. He has, however, courted controversy for his lavish lifestyle, as two-thirds of Swazis live in poverty.’
